The good book has a number of verses relating to directions and time, thought by scholars to infer the concepts of multiple dimensions(currently a fundamental tenet of Superstring theory) and that non-material beings are capable of travelling faster than the speed of light:

Chapter 37, verse 5: He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them; He is the Lord of the Easts.

Chapter70 verse 4: The angels and the spirit ascend to Him in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years.

Chapter 32, verses 5-6: He rules all affairs from the heavens to the earth. Then they all go back up to him in one day, whose measure is a thousand years by your reckoning...

Islam, eminently logical, placing the greatest emphasis on knowledge, purports to understand God's creation:Aga Khan 4.
The God of the Quran is the One whose Ayats(Signs) are the Universe in which we live, move and have our being:Aga Khan 3
