The Institute of Ismaili Studies has commenced a new gallery featuring the scientific tradition in medieval Islam. Its a site worth visiting and kudos to the IIS for doing this. I hope that they continue to expand it widely to show how the harmonious balance between knowledge that comes down from revelation and that which man acquires through the use of his own rational intellect was achieved and delicately maintained:
